Seljuk Gold Ring Gold Ring, Seljuk (Selçuk) Dynasty period. Diameter: 2,2 cm, 12th -13th century. The ring is engraved with an exceptional number of figures. Such figures become common in Islamic art in all the regions from Central Asia to Anatolia ruled by Turk dynasties, such as the Ghaznavids and the Seljuqs. The Seljuqs or Seljuks was a dynasty from the Qynyq (Kınık) branch of Oghuz (Oğuz) Turks. Seljuks ruled a vast area stretching from the Hindu Kush to eastern Anatolia and from Central Asia to the Persian Gulf. Selçuklu Altın Yüzük Altın Yüzük, Selçuklu Hanedanı dönemi, Çap: 2,2 cm, 12-13. The tomb "Türbe" of Ertuğrul Bey Ghazi

The tomb of Ertuğrul Bey Ghazi The tomb of Ertuğrul Bey Ghazi, Söğüt, Bilecik, Turkiye. The tomb belongs to Ertuğrul Ghazi (1198 – 1281), the Bey (Leader) of Kayı of Oghuz, a fore Ruler of the Seljuk dynasty and the father of Osman Ghazi (Osman I) who is the founder of the Ottoman dynasty. The tomb is in town of Söğüt with in the borders of Bilecik province and is built in 14th century but the actual building date is unknown. Söğüt has been handed out to Ertuğrul Ghazi  in exchange for his services by Sultan Alaad-Din Kay Qubadh the first of the Seljuks. It is assumed that  the tomb has been built with the orders by his great grandson Chelebi Sultan Mehmet Khan the first. Turkish Warrior Shield with the Kayı Tamgha  Turkish shield made of steel and copper alloys, late 15th century. Diameter: 46,7 cm. Weight: 1546 g. The shield is engraved with floral ornaments and stamped with the Kayı tribe Tamgha. A tamgha (stamp, seal) is an abstract seal used by Turks as the emblem of a particular tribe. The KAYI tribe (Turkish: Kayı boyu) is a sub-branch of the BOZOK Tribal federation of OGHUZ Turks. Osman I, founder of Ottoman Dynasty was a hereditary leader in the Kayı tribe. Royal arsenal of the Ottoman Dynasty used Kayı Tamgha as it’s distinctive mark on every kind of weaponry. The Tamgha of the KAYI Boyu Kayı Boyu Damgalı Türk Savaşçı Kalkanı Çelik ve bakır alaşımlarından imal edilmiş Türk Kalkanı, geç 15. Yüzyıl. Çap 46,7 cm. Ağırlık: 1546g.
